complex issues of your organization. After 30 years as the Managing Editor of Golf Digest, and after writing five books on golf (including "A Golden 18" with Jack Nicklaus), I am now sharing my writing, editing and media expertise
with clients around the world to help them gain the recognition they deserve.

Additional background about Roger Schiffman:
Managing Editor of Golf Digest from 1983-2013. Since the early 1980s, he has written more than 350 articles for the magazine, working with the game's top teachers and tour players, including the legendary Jack Nicklaus and
Hall of Fame teachers Jim Flick, Jim McLean, Rick Smith, Randy Smith, Chuck Cook and Martin Hall. He continues to write articles for Golf Digest as a Contributing Editor. Before joining Golf Digest in 1979, he began his career
as an Associate Editor for Tennis USA and Golf Journal magazines.
Schiffman has written six books on golf: Golf Basics (1985); How to Win the Three Games of Golf, with 2004 PGA Teacher of the Year Hank Johnson (1993); Perfectly Balanced Golf, with 1996 PGA Teacher of the Year Chuck Cook (1997), A Golden 18, a large coffee-table book celebrating 18 of Jack Nicklaus’s signature golf courses throughout the country (2014); A history of Quaker Ridge, celebrating the club’s 100th Anniversary (2016), and Make Your Next Shot Your Best Shot, with world-renowned Sport Psychologist Dr. Bob Rotella. Schiffman also served as Managing Editor of America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses — And then Some (1982), and How I Play Golf, by Tiger Woods (2001).
Schiffman is also the Founder and Director of Fairways for Freedom®, which conducts trips and retreats to Ireland, Scotland, Nova Scotia, England and U.S. destinations for combat-injured U.S. veterans. And he serves on the Board of Directors for the Jack Nicklaus Learning Leagues, a grow-the-game initiative.
A graduate of the University of Missouri, Schiffman holds a B.A. in Journalism. A 3-handicap golfer, he spends time
on Cape Cod, in Singer Island, FL, and in Northwest Ireland with his wife, Dr. Patricia Donnelly, a sport psychotherapist and licensed nutritionist. Their daughter, Kate, is a mental-health counselor in Boston.
